I take issue with your "Arafat thinks", "Sharon thinks" presentation. Sharon is the democratically elected leader of Israel. When what he thinks differs from what the majority of Israelis think, he will be gone. This is very different from Arafat and ALL the other Arab leaders.

I resent any presentation of the Middle East situation which implies symmetry between the two sides, such as the UN's and Colin Powell's declarations that Palestinians should stop murdering Jews and Jews should withdraw and stop trying to apprehend the murderers.
