It is you who demeans humanity by demeaning a number of the practices that perform in private while worshipping God. That was my point, over and over again. Ah, yes, I remember that point and meant to address it but it got lost somehow. You said that humanity has worshipped God for ages and so it was human to do so. I would submit that humanity is evolving in terms of our knowledge, skills, and understanding. Ancient humans did lots of things that are now behind us. It was once human to rip open an animal carcass with our teeth. I respect in humanity the will to move forward. I don't dishonor it by focusing on its potential rather than its past. While there was no contempt in my earlier posts, there may be an edge in this one. I have a decided bias towards advancement.
