Re: "This punk called flapjack is a bitter old jealous envious limited lazy leach that is angry because he didn't chase the American dream like you and me. Tough s*it."
My, my, Moe. Such a strong personal attack from a seemingly compassionate conservative. Old? Not yet. Jealous? I doubt it. "Leach?" I've worked for everything I have. Do not think for a moment, madame, that you have worked harder than me in life, because the opposite is likely true.
Actually, I've done very well in life. I married my college sweetheart (and am still happily married), raised two fine kids (one graduated from college; the other is in college now). I go to church most Sundays and have a fair amount of money in the bank. I live in a nice house because, over the years, I bought a house, rehabbed it, sold it for 2X or 3X, and repeated the process, repeated the process.
A few years ago I realized that the Republican Party was morally bankrupt. I realized that the GOP had no real solutions (only sound bites) to the huge problems facing minorities, education, rebuilding our cities, and a host of other problems. The Republican Party used to be a party of men of integrity ... people like Goldwater, Ford, Dirksen. Now it is littered with the likes of DeLay, Armey, Gingrich ... all of whom would have been proud sidekicks of Joe McCarthy had they served 50 years ago.
Next time you feel an overdose of right-wing pontifical rage, save it for someone who gives a sh*t.
I don't. |
