Scruffy #1, who was busy picking his pocket. He wasn't even trying to be adept at it; the administrator assumed what he felt was being caused by Muffy and Fluffy. As soon as he had the wallet, Scruffy #2 grabbed it and ran with #1 in hot pursuit. (Haven't we had several hot pursuits already? Will we run out?) Scruffy #2 ran down the hall and turned left- -right into the emergency room and knocked down a psychiatric nurse. The nurse assumed Scruffy#2 was one of hers on the loose. She slammed a syringe of tranquilizer into his arm and slammed down the plunger. Just then Scruffy#1 came running in, followed closely by both Toughies who were outraged at the theft. The nurse had just started her shift and had not been in the hospital when that fateful switch had been closed. Her eyes bugged at the sight of yet another Scruffy and two Toughies. She grabbed another syringe and plunged it into her arm. The last thing she saw was ......
