My question is this. Unless you shoot handguns for sport, your only purpose to have one is to shoot another person. If you do not need to shoot another person, you do not need a hand gun. It is that simple. I don't need one, for I do not wish to ever shoot another person, If I had one, they it would be to shoot another person, thus I do not need one. And if you really want defend yourself, carry a rifle.
