"The Republican credo is: "I've made mine. F--- those who ain't as fortunate." - flapjack

The American credo is to offer the opportunity for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I believe in that. That is why when people like you profess a hatred for people who have succesfully done that, I think they are being un-American. This dream is open to everyone. Your position seems to have more of a socialistic approach that says the people that have made it are obligated to help those who have not.

That said, I am all for helping people that need help. But unlike you, I do not think that is a very large percentage of Americans. You are prejudiced against me for making it AND prejudiced against the ones that you say cannot make it. I also would venture to guess that republicans give at least as much per person to charity, and more in taxes. Or do you think the top 10% of taxpayers are democrats?

Your dream seems to be for someone to provide for you (or the people you speak for), and mine is just what the Constitution, Bill of Rights and America offers.
