Also disappearing from the Republican lexicon post-Enron is the phrase: "We need to run (FILL IN THE BLANK) more like a
business."

Enron became a kleptocracy. Government should be run like a business but not as a business. It does not create jobs, only the environment of good laws, including working conditions, strict financial accounting procedures, and fair taxes that encourage economic growth. If it concentrated on these it would be wildly successful and beloved.;)
