Well of course there is discrimination. In California, at places like UCLA (in the 80s and 90s - I believe that at present, the University of California does not practice AA in accepting students), AA probably did not take seats from white students and give them to African Americans and Hispanics; if anyone had seats taken, it was Asian Students. LOL
Taking from one historically discriminated group, and giving to another.

In Los Angeles, 3 teachers sued the LAUSD, because they were discriminated against. They argued that they were the most qualified for the positions they applied to, but the jobs were given to less qualified applicants. The less qualified applicants were given preference because they were "under represented".
