Wave. That's a pretty good draw this late in the season.

Here's a table of all the weekly AGA reports beginning in 1995 to date.

highlandenergy.com

Today was the report for week #13. Scanning backward across the page you can see the -65 BCF reported today is the largest draw for the 13th week in the past 8 years. So it's a bullish report, although these still a lot of gas in total storage, relative to previous years.

The 10 temperature forecast maps OTOH are signaling that this unusually cold Spring may be about to moderate as we go into next week.

After that, the prime question for NG traders to puzzle will be how much supply will be injected into storage before the air conditioning season begins. Will it be large enough to baloon total storage to very high levels and drive down NG prices? Or will factors such as: Sharply reduced NG drilling during the past year; and the large number of nuclear plants going off line for extensive repairs & maintanence reduce NG injections to more moderate levels than previous years?

Never a dull moment.<g>
