I can't even imagine a government invading a Catholic church to arrest people seeking sanctuary. And I am not all that devout. I too am a practicing casual Catholic and if my church were harbouring terrorists or criminals, I'd be first to say "Charge!!". I firmly believe most Catholics would. Political sanctuary?....I'd want to know the facts first. I would be intolerant of those who had practiced true criminal and violent acts. C
