... the talking rabbit that had "borrowed" a dozen donuts earlier in our story.

"Ehhh ... what's up guys?", asked the rabbit, who was too short to see over the dashboard, so had stacked 3 boxes of donuts in the driver's seat.

Toughie #1 jumped into the cab of the truck and pulled the emergency brake, while Toughie #2 climbed on to the truck's running board.

The truck's brakes locked up, dislodging several dozen boxes of donuts from the shelves in the back of the truck. The talking rabbit lost control of the steering wheel and the truck began spinning in circles on the pavement.

It came to a rest just inches from "Muffy's hole" in the street. The back doors of the truck opened up from the force of all those donut boxes pushed up against them, then dozens and dozens of boxes flew out the back of the truck ... right into the hole.

A few seconds later, a voice from within the pit said ... "Hey, thanks! We were getting pretty hungry down here. You have any chocolate glazed?"

Toughies#1 & #2 were dumbfounded. "There are still more people down there!" shouted #1. But, #2 didn't care. He had salvaged a box of Old-Fashioneds and was scarfing them down.

The rabbit, disgusted at the thought of losing his recently "borrowed" truck (well, OK .. he stole it), hopped out of the truck and ...
