did you think like I did that this is a gorilla which is aging very quickly?

Although I've discounted the the management issue in the past that many here have raised about Larry I finally gave up on Oracle when I found out that Larry is very tight with both Enron's Lay and the CEO of Global Crossing. When your close friends have management styles like that it increased my concerns to the level that I did not feel comfortable in holding Oracle any longer ( about 6% of our portfolio ). And my wife agreed, another important part of the analysis.
Since most of the position was in our IRAs there were no tax consequences to the sale and it was done with a profit. Proceeds were re-deployed into existing holdings. We'll see.
FWIW.
