Well, let's see. I posted that I was not familiar with Donahue but I appreciated his stated interest in a show with dignified discussion of ideas. From that you derive that--ergo--I "love" Donahue because he's a liberal.

Then I express excitement at the prospect of seeing Ashcroft on Letterman, particularly singing, and you conclude that I "hate" him because he's a conservative.

I'll admit to coyness when I responded as I did rather than say something more direct like "your conclusions are absurd" or maybe "you're an idiot." Changing the subject? I think you beat me to that when you made it about liberals and conservatives. Backpedaling? No, I haven't backed off anything. Obfuscation? Well, I understand how everything looks confusing to you. Maybe if you apply yourself...
