Meanwhile, the remaining people at the bottom of the pit were unaware of the duplicity factor on the street (or is it streets? Was it duplicated, too? How powerful was that Bifurcation Magnometer, anyway?). They were concerning themselves with getting out of their predicament. I mean, let's face it ... being at the bottom of a bottomless pit seems almost counter-intuitive, right?

Bugs Pond (our hero!) surveyed the situation while munching on his coconut donut.

"Hmmm", said our well trained super-hero, as he does when his super-hero brain shifts into high gear. "I wonder if we stacked all these donut boxes in stair step fashion over here next to the wall ...."
