<<what room is there for another Office software package?>>

saturated means no growth. any new purchases will be with products that can offer the same functionality for less money. star office 6 and linux might prove to be alternatives if msft does not abuse its monopoly power to stifle competition.

also, there is room when upgrades for office software will be free or a minimal charge. msft calls their releases of office software new products when they are just upgrades from the previous version. these days are coming to an end abrubtly, which is the main reason why they are rushing into web services. they know this but have not notified the investing public of this fact.

please enlighten me on what xp can do that win95 could not do. not much. to me, that is an upgrade and not a new product. monopolies can get away with that.

rocky.
