OT "Any fool knows not to lock the doors of a convertible."

I had a convertible in the 70s. I was single and lived in several tough Chicago and Kansas City areas. I never locked the doors and never had a problem. Now I live in a nice area and I always lock the doors on the hard top.

Cars are stolen every day from the large K of P shopping mall. Several years ago, they made off with mine. The remains were found 25 miles away. No interior, no engine, no transmission, no doors, no windows, no trunk lid, no hood, no lights, no steering wheel. The frame and the top was the only thing left. They had to tell me it was my car. A serial number was the only clue. I guess they didn't need all the parts.
