The League of Nations voted to form the state of Israel in 1947. I have never seen a breakdown of the vote, but it was a majority. If the world was against the Jews, that would not have happened. 1. It was a bare majority 2. Some rules of 'normal' world operation were suspended in the immediate aftermath of the Holocaust. Everything's back to 'normal' now.
