Hi Nadine Carroll; The most important paragraph from that article is this one:

"To be effective, that blow must target civilians. That is what the Jewish state was not expected to do, and that is what will make the enemy understand it means business."

This is the beginning of the end for US support for Israel. The whole objective of the Palestinians was to create a situation of moral equivalency between themselves and the Israelis.

Why don't you look through all the .mil sites and find me a single current US military document (i.e. a Field Manual or whatever) advocating the targeting of civilians as a reprisal in warfare. Just one current document that supports this.

Israel has the advantage of a lot of high powered US weapons. But if Israel uses them to target civilians you can say goodbye to US military support.

All the Arab countries need is for the US to be neutral in Israel.

P.S. My belief is that the objective of the Palestinians is to eventually destroy the Israeli state. I wonder how anyone could think otherwise.
