Bush is pulling the plug even as we speak. Zinni's going to meet with Arafat tomorrow. Bush called on Sharon to immediately implement a cease fire. I don't think Sharon has the green light anymore. My perception is that the IDF overdid it, and we just did not have the stomach for it. I sure don't. I just heard one of the Franciscan friars from the Church of the Nativity compound tell a reporter that the IDF blew out a door of the compound. That's stupid. You're the one who tells everyone that fundamentalist Christians support the Israelis. Sure, because they protect the Christian holy sites. Your guys are sacrificing their long term good for short term goals. That's really stupid. A bloodbath in the Church of the Nativity would be a colossal blunder.
