Hi Lynn, hope you are well! Yep, that is what is so nice about these new 'hardtop convertibles'... Of course, the Lexus is around 65k and the new Mercedes *STARTS* at 85k, so folks who can afford those cars probably wouldn't worry even if they had their 'canvas' torn open. There is a 'budget' model out there in the form of the Mercedes SLK, which is in the mid 40k range, still not inexpensive. I have a Nissan 300ZX which has solid removable panels, nice, but a pain to remove them and store in the trunk.
