Dan, I don't think Christ invented a religion. I think he wanted to spread a new more civilized way of thinking and behaving. I don't think he wanted to be worshiped. He wanted to set an example for all to follow as best they could, imo. He wanted his ideas to be remembered and lived, imo. I don't think any God who created us wants us to worship him. I think he wants us to get along and live and enjoy life. It is through our celebration of life that we honor God, imo. It is man who is always creating elaborate institutions like religion to control other men. alanib
