In fact, that's why there is no need for an antitrust trial imho. You buy once and then don't buy anything ever again. Who cares if there is a monopoly on that! I think one thing which MSFT should be made to do is that if I buy a new computer, I should be allowed to use the old CDs for the old OS and install it on the new one while not paying for the OS on the new one. Then, this antitrust case should just go away...
