gold to $400. If there was a bubble in stocks and one beginning in real estate, gold could happen too. America would have to be viewed as extremely impotent for that to happen IMO. I can remember hocking my high school ring at $800 per ounce in mid 70's when US was viewed as paralyzed by Vietnam and Watergate. Tremendous supplies would becoming available if prices get that high knocking down prices quickly. I think all the Hunt brothers of Texas from the silver bubble are in the grave now. Your predicting maximum trouble in ME for this to play out.
