Tony, LOL! This guy was one of the biggest opponents of the Pentium 4 when it launched. He wrote the most damning article about the micro-architecture, criticizing just about every aspect. You should really read one of the first articles - it might just floor you to compare it with his recent "change of opinion" (you may have to copy-paste the link. The space before the '4' doesn't let the link launch to the correct anchor). emulators.com 4 The irony is: the only thing Intel has done to the Pentium 4 is double the cache, crank up the frequency, and give it a process shrink.
