I'm not Catholic, so I don't know what can or can't be said by someone other than the Pope in regards to world problems.
We all saw him on tv over Easter. He was very frail, and didn't look capable of keeping up on the happenings.

Can a Pope be replaced, or is death the only means for the changing of head of the Church?
