I certainly think that if you'd intelligent liberals, all of them, had converted to your politics a long time ago, that would have more thoroughly and definitivel attacked Poet, Solon, and other liberals who hadn't converted, than the same statement with "mostly" thrown in.
That of course changes nothing in my post, and does not convert disrespect to respect, and does not blunt the intended insult to the degree that it is no longer an attack but has been transformed into a "poke."
You see the problem with bringing PC definitions of what is acceptable and non-acceptable criticism or expression into political fora. Now one argues about what was a poke and what was an insult or attack or disrespect, motivation will affect perception, as is usual.
May I still say "imaginary friend," or is that unfunny, and not a poke but an attack? |
