Hi Tim: Conviction? Absolutely. This ain't pee-wee league stuff. You got to have the guts to execute.
If you swing trade, which is what I think a lot of folks on here do anymore anyway, you need the mindset to go both ways. I agree. It's hard to go short. That's not the way we were taught to look at the market.
Besides, you got to keep in perspective that right now, and for the past few weeks, this market has been a challenge to call. The gurus couldn't even do it.
Also, that's why I like to focus on just a small number of items to watch. Really doesn't matter what they are, just let me play the swing. Don't have to have the big runners, the hot sectors, to make nice returns with option swings.
BTW, going short, I seem to have my best luck with indexes rather than stocks.
We're doing fine, Tim. Thanks for asking. Yes, just extremely busy this first quarter and will be the whole year I can tell already. You know me, I have my life plan already charted and it's going to be a dynamite year.
