The real issue is what the scriptures actually preach, not how evil-doers twist them to their own benefits. I know enough scripture and theology to know that the Bible didn't preach the Inquisition and the Crusades. However, I don't know enough of the Koran to know whether Islam preaches violence against Jews and Christians or not. And those who say the Koran doesn't preach this aren't being heard, perhaps because the voices of the extremists are drowning them out.

Tenchusatsu, may be the voices of the extremists are screaming with the expressed purpose of drowning out the voices of reason. That's why we have to work extra hard to hear those latter voices, otherwise, the extremists will have won.

BTW, no good man of Allah or God would preach hate or violence..........of that I am sure.
