Well, exactly-- that was my point! He WANTED, he INVITED responses to his views!! He would have been disappointed if he hadn't gotten any. Neo knows his audience here very well-- he probably could have written the responses himself; that there was questioning of his views shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. BUT they all have been very polite, and not at all wolfpacky in tone.
If Neo is ordained King of Respectful, then Karen wears the Queen's crown, and if you are going to liken Karen and X to a wolfpack in this recent exchange, then you will have to equate Neo's post with my metaphorical Wolfy, Wolfy invitation for he knew to whom he was writing, and that there would be a fairly predictable response. If he doesn't enjoy this, then I am at a loss to explain why he would make the overture!
Neo's character was certainly not being assailed, at least by me; Neo and I are, I think, pretty good friends who enjoy mutual respect, as do you and I.
I think we do, anyway.
