Dave,

Second of all, what if I had a CDMA phone that was 3 years ago and compared it to my Nokia 61xx series phone.

What is your experience with Nokia handsets? I have to say that they (AT&T Nokia line) are unusually crappy. I am talking about a sample of about 75 phones, of which some 10 or have had sever problems.

Other than that, compared to Sprint CDMA and AT&T TDMA, I don't think the quality of service (reception), calls going through, dropped calls, I don't think the quality differs much.

One mildly annoying thing was that AT&T service does not have a capability to leave numeric pages. A huge advantage of AT&T is that the customer support (at least corporate accounts) has individuals with IQ about 40 points higher than Sprint customer service.
