Lurkerism. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the entries and really don't have anything to improve your knowledge of the situation. Hearsay wise..... My friend's husband did get laid off from IDTI and he's been there 15 years and another semi engineer I know says its never been this tough on the previous downturns. He hasn't worked at IDTI for seven years though. A painting contractor tells me all the rentals he used to do in San Jose have dried up "because 20% are empty and all the Indian engineers went home". It sounds bleak, but then again, there is still a very well documented optimism in stocks. Trading till it gets better...
