Spoken like a true master of misunderstanding. Unfortunately it is not possible to say some things succinctly without help from the reader. I meant to say that things of importance will be adopted voluntarily by people of varied cultures, trivial matters will only be adopted under coercion. Much of what passes for required common heritage is of the trivial variety.
