By whom? They made peace with Iraq at the Arab summit a couple of weeks ago.


Iraq made peace because they know they can't win. If the US wasn't involved Iraq would not longer think it can't win. It might not invade Saudi but it could intimidate it to try to control the area, and the oil production from the area.

It would hurt the average person, but the people in charge have such ridiculous amounts of money that they wouldn't feel a thing.

The leaders would still have plush lives sure, but they wouldn't have as much money to buy off discontent. The Saudis solutions to many problems has been to throw money at them. If they stop having the money they might have to actually deal with the problem and thats too much like work...
