Without the West Bank, a significant part of Israel is 10 or so miles wide amd very, very difficult to defend. Israel had been attacked by a number of Arab countries in three wars up until then, and the state's very existence was threatened in each of those wars. >That's it? You would be pissed but you wouldn't do anything about it? One thing I do know is I wouldn't support suicide bombings.
