And as such, could not lead a Palestinian state, so are they really relevant in this argument? These people are not listened to by the Palestinian people, and very well may be in the minority.

Z, I hope at some point I hope Arafat and his lieutenants will be irrelevant. At that point, these lesser people may be the ones to provide leadership.
