OT - There is one other line of argument here which is that the global climate trend cannot be affected to any appreciable extent by anything that humans do other than thru nuclear war. If one chooses not to buy that argument then what if the world is cooling and we try to prevent global warming - then we are taking exactly the wrong action. I maintain we have no earthly idea which it is doing and that cooling is a greater threat to life on earth than warming is.
