I tend to agree with Steven that if you are upset a lot by things, you shouldn't be here. I disappear frequently if I feel upset or angered by stuff or think that things are either bogged down or out of control.
There is a huge difference too in one person's sensibilities being troubled and an entire thread's (as in the case of CL last week). Issues between two people ought to be dealt with privately rather than publicly if they extend. But I think I am pretty alone in this view.

I don't know much about all the things that get discussed here and that's why I like it so much when it's at its best. When it isn't I do laundry.
