Wait a minue, DavesM, that link showed U. of Nebraska wrote the textbooks published by the millions showing mines and bombs as counting tools for children, under direction of the U.S. military intelligence. That is clearly training grade-school kids to accept and embrace bloody warfare.

I hope that's a bit different than the US Army training McVeigh.

As far as military assistance to the Taliban, or groups that later began to call themselves Taliban, I don't see the difference. Add to that the $43 million sent by this administration 4 months before 9/11 to the Taliban supposedly to compensate them for not growing opium, that all looks suspiciously like "underwriting" to someone like me, who doesn't know any better.
