Wireless is one of those advances that will probably take us places we can't even imagine, so I'm hesitant to make any sweeping predictions about it.

But I would point out that taking the US from current wireless use to 100% penetration would increase the worldwide shipment of handsets by less than 20%.

One thing is for sure: even if we don't benefit as investors, we are already benefitting as users! My family is now almost entirely wireless: wireless LAN in the home and we all have wireless handsets.

Not a fixed line in the family except for one cable drop, Verizon must absolutely hate people like us. ;-)
