This is typical Parrish crap - a few isolated facts, taken out of context, strung together "black helicopter" fashion to show some conspiracy that even a simple analysis would show to be incorrect.
He has a whole section on some close relationship between Warburg, BEA, HP and ISS - based on some partnership announcement between HP and BEA, and the fact that Warburg invested in BEA.
BEA is the leading vendor of application server software, HP as a matter of course would announce something with them. But HP actually competes with BEA, there has been a fair amount of acrimony between the companies, and what OEMing of middleware software HP does is not from BEA. The fact that some ex-HP execs now work at BEA is hardly surprising - I would bet one could find ex-HP execs working at every major tech firm, given HP's long history in the valley and large employee base. 10% turnover puts 8,000 ex-HP people into the tech community every year. The notion that there is some relationship between these companies aside from coincidental intersection of interests is just silly.
The rest of the "analysis" is of about the same caliber.
Parrish analysis is like the SNL skit on Santa Claus by the church lady - "Both wear red suits. Both have beards. And move one letter, and SANTA becomes SATAN!!! Coincidence??? I think not!"
Except with Parrish, the joke is on anyone who takes him seriously. I don't think he actually believes the crap he writes, I think he is just making a living off of gullible suckers. |
