Hi jcky- I thought your earlier post was xcellent; I was sorry I hadn't written it. I have to correct you a bit, though. Rambi is voting with Steven for incivility, but with you for no boorishness. After looking up all the definitions, I decided that consideration for another couldn't play a huge role in a thread like this. Not if it is going to be the boxing ring. This does not mean of course, if you are the kind of person who can't suspend her manners for any reason, which I sadly am, that you WON'T behave civilly. It means that people just can't complain when their feelings are hurt in the course of a sacred cow argument. Or whatever we are labeling it today. I really don't understand why this seems to hard to define-- we all seem to believe WE have a handle on exactly what it means! :)
