I think the 1X name has the potential of that same sort of appeal. But any effort would help educate the public into being better buyers and choosing based on a known brand that delivered the faster performance. A series of simple announcements of speed tests of GSM vs GPRS vs 1X. Later hyping the upgrade to 1X with speeds up to 384kbs, and then DO. Aren't there some marketing geniuses out there in SI land that can come up with an idea and promo it to Qcom?
