Ray--fair enough, you state your case clearly and I appreciate the cordiality of your comments. We are far apart but probably have very similar aspirations for the future. As I said in my earlier post, it may not be long before we learn which of us is closer to reality. I have read the Cato scholars on this issue but never reacted in print---perhaps I should put something out on this subject since I really do disagree with those conclusions. Our semester ends in a few weeks so May could be a timely month for such a piece..-Thank you for provoking me to think about something beyond the pile of term papers on my desk----Frank
