I do not know where or how can the argument be taken that Jerusalem belongs to the Palestinians, or to the Jews, or the Christians... or I do not care who else is in line for it.

The bottom line is if we want civilized progress no one should accept the Palestinian method of terrorism. (Nor anybody else's for that matter).

Making the argument that Jerusalem belonged to the Palestinians just because they were there first long ago, yet there is not even an established "official state" of Palestinia (I suppose, other than the equivalent of a "tribe"), and after a number of nations accepted the formation of Israel... AND after a number of wars won by the Israeli state...

After all this, to argue that Palestinia has the right of ownership to the same land that the Israelis is somehow moot.

I am not opposed to a formation of a Palestinian state/nation but it is going to have to be in a different place.

Can you imagine arguing that the Unite States of America should give the land say... Louisiana... back to...

The native Indians...? Since the French, (using the same argument as it is pretended by the Palestinians), were not really the rightful owners of the land in the first place, they had no right to sell it to the US... so...

Same with Florida...

For that matter same with California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas etc etc... The Mexicans were there first. They were attacked in an unprovoked manner (or created arguments were made to have an excuse)...

Give me a break... AND this land is FAR FAR FAR more productive than a damned piece of desert anyway....

So let's stop the bullshit making arguments using data that probably cannot be proven one way or the other, and even if it was possible... Why is it that the Palestinians allowed this to happen in the first place?

Obviously... the Europeans had something to do with the entire thing... and a question comes to mind... Where were the Arab "brothers", why they did not come to their aide in the first place?

Evidently, the Israeli arguments (or those who plead their case) were smarter, more united or whatever), the point is they won. Period.

My point is, there is no doubt in my mind that many injustices have been committed throughout the history of mankind, and there may be a great deal of one made against the Palestinians.

Yet... the bottom line is we cannot change the past.

No question that we as humans should change our ways, no question about it...

And perhaps something should be done, (within reason), to assist the Palestinian state to develop.

However....

No degree of past injustice, (or whatever the hell you want to present any other argument under)... NOTHING will justify the stupidity of the present situation NOTHING.

NOTHING !

The same goes for Northern Ireland btw.

At this point, I have no interest in finding "who is at fault” My personal interest is that no more terror is executed.... AND if the perpetrators who insists in doing so, should be exterminated like f*cking cockroaches.

Academically, or for historical purposes, I am sure that the history of the Middle East must be fascinating (if not mind boggling).

But once again, for practical purposes, both sides should sit down and negotiate in good faith and STOP all terror, the rest... I do not give a rat's arse about it at this point. I am simply tired and disgusted with the situation, it is worse than damned 2 year olds with machine guns and bombs.

Besides... it is not as if you are asking the Palestinians to cut their balls off as a condition to form their state.

So they do not have Jerusalem as part of their mailing address, BFD !!!!!

Ask any developer in Las Vegas, and provided the right money transfer takes place they will reproduce the damned city AND they will get it with the latest computer-ready technology... office building, distribution warehouses, even an entertaining area... just ask Disney World to put one in.

JESUS H. F*cking CHRIST man !!!

It just pisses me off so much stupidity for no damned (valid) reason whatsoever, particularly after all the bloodshed.

If this is "tradition" and this is done in the name of religious reasons... Frankly, I view this as a potential for legal actions against those who use religion as a tool of torture and terror.

Indeed, I would love to see the Catholic Church get sued their booties off for all the torturing and terror they executed during their long days of the Inquisition.

Not too long ago someone argued with me (in their usual circling endless arguments, it could not be done...) well, guess what... they have started using the fact that to this days many of the priests are a bunch of pedofiles, and given another idiotic idea that such priests can not be married, they take on helpless children as their escape for sexual advances...

Until we, the people, [as individuals], realize the tremendous amount of rubbish we get bombarded with from all ends... politicians, sacerdotal bishops, bureaucrats, union leaders, you name it... we get it... and figure out a way to defend ourselves... guess what? they will continue to feed it from all ends... so it is up to us.

I am soooooo happy to be an atheist and be free of all the garbage baggage that these people carry and force their own to execute acts of terror in the name of their "cause"

I mean... here we have, (over at the Currency Thread)... a guy that seems to be quite educated, (and a snob to boot, pretending to tell me I am a moron, given his insinuations), telling me that he essentially considers an act of "courage" when a 16 year old girl straps herself to a bomb and blows herself to bits in the middle of a bus full of innocent people that have NOTHING whatsoever to do with whatever garbage argument their "cause" is...

AND I AM SUPPOSED TO BE IMPRESSED? Or ... perhaps feel admiration for this ? What do we call it Patriotism?

I call it IDIOTISM. And I despise the leaders that force their people to think that way.

This is a well-educated individual making such statements/suggestions...

And to top it all... he pretends to patronize me telling me that him and I think very much alike, only just we express differently. ---HO HO HO HO HO ----

This type of BULLSHIT thinking is what has human kind so deep in the crapola that we are in.

Anyway.... I got to get back to my work

btw... an example of a great "Individualist" is Bernie Ecclestone. I am certain you will not agree with me.

as for quotes.... Let's see... ok... one from Bernie himself:

___________________

When Bernie is asked whether the phenomenon of antitrust proceedings being brought in America against Microsoft and in Europe against Formula One indicates that the trust busters in all places are going far afield from the railroad barons and oil cartels that were their traditional targets, Bernie's answer is not antagonistic but the calm resignation of an international businessman based in Europe who has made deals worldwide:

"My answer has nothing to do with Formula One. What I think has happened in Europe is that business in general has moved on . . . and these European Treaties have not moved on. It's a worldwide phenomenon . . . people doing business with everyone . . . What we need now is a Treaty of the World not a Treaty of Rome [which originally created the European Union]."

As things stand, Bernie believes that the focus of the European Union should be to protect Europe but his view is that its policies and decisions seem to favor America and Asia to the disadvantage of Europe. The net effect: "they are getting rid of the entrepreneur," says Bernie, and making it difficult for Europeans to run their businesses in a competitive way vis-a-vis the rest of the world.
