alan,

I'm going to disappoint you again, I'm sure. Re: God Bless You. I don't believe there is a god. Sorry for such modern thinking. I realize it doesn't help my argument with religious fanatics to suggest that all religion is bunk and the disputes in Palestine are all about power and turf, with the religious gloss being a merely window dressing for naked aggression.

Re: But it's always too much in your and Arafat's eyes.

Sir, I would advise you to speak for yourself and let me present my point of view. I do not have an opinion as to how much territory the Jews ought to have in Palestine. Any legitimate real estate transactions that passed title to Jewish owners would be perfectly acceptable to me. What offends my sensibilities is that the territory that Israel controls has predominantly been taken either by legal subterfuge or at the point of a gun. It is the unethical and immoral aspects of the Israeli land grab that troubles me.

Re: You pretend the entire middle east was simply minding their own business in 67 when all of a sudden Israel up and attacked.

You are correct, Israel attacked. They were the aggressors. You should never forget that fact. It's abundantly clear that they had no honest justification for their war, it was simply a part of an ongoing pattern of aggressive land grabbing.
