John, Dell Exec Planned to Sell $2.9 Million in Stock WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Dell Computer Corp. (DELL.O) Vice Chairman James Vanderslice planned to sell $2.9 million of stock in the No. 1 personal computer maker, according to a regulatory filing released on Friday. Vanderslice filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission a notification he intended to sell 110,000 shares granted as restricted shares in 1999 by the Round Rock, Texas-based company. It was not immediately known if the shares had been sold. A company spokesman was not immediately available. According to the filing, he had not sold any shares in the three months prior to the filing, which is dated April 1. Dell shares were down 26 cents at $26.48 in afternoon trading on Nasdaq. 16:31 04-05-02
