I have been listening to this MSNBC program re the pilots who flew the planes into the WTC. Its remarkable......to a man they read like a younger version of bin Laden.......from well off families, well educated, a sudden reversion to religious fervor, charismatic et al.

They were a very different breed from the suicide bombers. And they were not all Saudis.....in fact, only a few were Saudis. It is very hard to comprehend. A German woman rented a room to one of them, and pretty much said it all when she said he [the guy to whom she rented the room] was smart enough to have gotten out of the mission but sadly and inexplicably, he chose not to.
