I don't know how did I came to this thread, but Arnold Toynbee once said that 'our Western philosophies, religions can barely be arriving at the level of the B.C. 7 century Oriental (especially Indian) Philosophies'.

Recently, I've read somewhere that Western expeditions to the Orient started 500 years ago, were all possible by Chinese world map introduced by Chinese Explorer to the European, much earlier than Mazelan and Columbus.

Hope your conclusive ignorant opinion not prevail as truth.

Here is one book started with a very simple concept, common to Western and Eastern philosophies. Why don't you try to figure out how far the author can go with a simple start.
