I hear what you're saying and agree. Unfortunately, you can't separate the Israelis and Palestinians because they live not just side by side but all intermingled. It's more like trying to separate your two boys who live in the same room with each other and sleep in the same bed. You can't separate them, so you have to just pray they eventually learn to get along. But why does the US have to lead the peace efforts? Why can't it be the UN? Hell, the Palestinians and Arabs all think that we are the cause of all evil in the world, so their no way that the US can really lead a peace effort. I think we should pocket our pride and just let the UN take the lead.
