What I object to, Neo, is that you seem to have claimed the right to define the terms under which any discussion of religion is to be conducted. I claim you have no such right and I don't either, nor anyone else who gets involved.

I see your "Let's not question anything our great grandfathers believed" stance as simply a furtherance of this. As Steven pointed out, the Western tradition is more closely the exact opposite of that.
